TowerWeb — M1 Playtest Build
You and three bots each start with a plot, a modest budget, and the same simple toolkit: build offices, apartments, and fast food, set your own prices, and grow your tower's valuation faster than your rivals. First to the target wins — or whoever's ahead after 42 in-game days.
Every morning at 8:00, the metro arrives and the city moves — watching where the crowd goes is the scoreboard. Prices are yours to set, but citizens and companies comparison-shop across all four towers, so undercutting is a real tactic, not just a number going up.
This is an early, deliberately plain-looking build (colored boxes and letters, no art yet) — we're testing whether the underlying game is fun before investing in visuals. It's private: please don't share the link.
What we'd love feedback on:
- Are elevators satisfying to manage, or just frustrating?
- Is one building type clearly overpowered?
- Is the metro fun to watch?
- Can you tell what's driving the economy?
- Do the citizens/crowds actually help you decide what to do next?
- Did you lose track of time playing?
A match takes about 15–20 minutes. At the end, there's a "Copy match report" button — please paste that plus your answers to the questions above into an email back to us.
Want me to adjust tone (shorter/punchier vs. more explanatory), or draft the itch.io "Short description" / tags fields too?
